Health Benefits of Sweet Potatoes

Great Source of Vitamin A and C

As their rich orange color suggests, sweet potatoes are a great source of Beta-Carotene, which our body converts into Vitamin A. We need Vitamin A to maintain healthy skin, vision and organ function.

Vitamin C is crucial for immune function and antioxidant properties.

Good Source of Fiber

A cup of sweet potatoes contains about 6 grams of fiber, which is essential for digestion and may also assist in lowering cholesterol, maintain blood sugar levels and helping you feel full longer.

Blood Pressure Regulation

When you eat both the inside and skin of sweet potatoes, you are getting more potassium than two medium bananas. Potassium can help regular blood pressure by helping regulate sodium and excess fluid in our body.
