Santa Maria-Bonita School District: Kids get hands-on experience with therapy dogs

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – Life’s been challenging for some 7th graders.

“It’s been extremely nerve-racking you know like my grades went down,” claimed scholar Izaiah Shandurger of Fesler Junior Large College in Santa Maria.

But all through lunch break, there was no worry, as quite a few
furry pals like “Ella” arrived by.

“Getting enjoyment due to the fact like I’m finding to hang out with the puppies and stuff
that therapy dolls which is which helps make me joyful and I been going as a result of a

Nine treatment canine teams frequented the campus to dangle out with students and employees.
